What is a Graduate Certificate?

A Graduate Certificate is a step up from a MicroCertificate and offers more in-depth knowledge to increase your skillset without the commitment of a graduate degree. Some of our programs are designed around national certifications exam. By earning more than one Certificate, you can begin to “stack” your education and boost your resume.

What is a Graduate MicroCertificate?

A MicroCertificate is designed to learn skills quickly and have a basic understanding of a topic. Our 2-course programs will offer you the knowledge and skills that can lead you to career growth, greater earning and keeping pace with industry trends. By earning more than one MicroCertificate, you can begin to “stack” your education and boost your resume.

What is stacking?

Working professionals who need a shorter pathway to continuing their education can earn more than one certificate or microcertificate by taking courses that apply to multiple programs, this is called “stacking”.  These programs are designed for specific skill sets, lower cost and shorter commitment.

With stackable certificates, you can:

  • Apply credits earned toward other certificate programs or a master of science
  • Gain expertise in various areas such as engineering management, leadership, data analytics or operations management
  • Separate yourself in a competitive job market
  • Boost skills to qualify for career advancement
  • Work toward professional certifications such as Lean Six Sigma and Project Management
