This program is designed around the International Association for Six Sigma Certification (IASSC) body of knowledge and prepares you to sit for the Green Belt certification exam.
The program offers flexibility through its 8-week sessions of online courses. When you complete the 12 credit hours in this graduate certificate program, you may apply them toward master’s degree programs offered by the College of Engineering: MS in Operations Management, MS in Engineering Management, and MS in Engineering.

Yes! These are considered graduate classes and you will receive graduate level credit for the courses you take toward the certificate.
To be admitted, you must have a conferred bachelor degree from a regionally accredited institution with at least 60 graded credit hours. You must also have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better, OR a 2.5 or better GPA in the last 60 credit hours. The GRE is not required for admission.
The fee for the application is free if you are currently enrolled as a graduate student. Otherwise, the fee is $30.
