Students can earn a MicroCertificate to gain skills for their job and improve their resume.

Program Overview

The 6-credit hour Graduate MicroCertificate in Decision Support for Operations Managers is open to students with a STEM undergraduate degree. Students will learn how to develop and implement a mathematically sound decision process for single or multiple objective decisions, with both known and uncertain inputs; clean, join and analyze disparate data from multiple sources to support operations management decision-making; analyze and visualize multi-dimensional datasets; and communicate data and analysis results to support operations management decision-making.

This MicroCertificate, which can be added to your resume, is one step in an educational pathway that could lead to a master’s degree.

With the MS in Operations Management and the MS in Engineering Management, you can start with a two-course MicroCertificate, continue with additional MicroCertificates or four-course Graduate Certificates, then apply all courses to a 10-course graduate degree. You can obtain your first credential in as little as eight weeks.
