The Master’s program in Operations Management is one that is normally pursued by students who are employed full-time in the U.S. The classes are offered in weekday evenings hours. This is an applied management program and does not have the same structure or financial arrangements as traditional, research-oriented graduate programs (fellowships, assistantships, etc.). We can accommodate citizens of other countries only if (1) they are in the U.S. on work or dependent visas, (2) if they can make separate arrangements with the University’s International Admissions Office to qualify for an F-1 student visa and relocate to Fayetteville, or (3) if they remain abroad and take the program entirely online. The person to contact for more information about international admission documentation requirements and procedures for reasons 1 or 2 above is Susan Byram email@example.com or 479-575-6469.
To be admitted into the program, students who plan to move to the Northwest Arkansas area and attend live classes at the Fayetteville campus, must submit BOTH 1) a total TOEFL score and 2) an English Writing Proficiency score. Minimum acceptable scores are listed below and there are no exceptions or conditional admissions with regards to these requirements.
1) One of the following Total TOEFL scores:
- 550 paper based
- 79 Internet Based Test (IBT)
2) One of the following English Writing Proficiency scores:
- 26 on the TOEFL iBT Writing
- 71 on the Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE-A)
- 6.0 on the IELTS
- 4.0 on the GRE Analytical Writing
- 4.5 on the GMAT Analytical Writing
- 75 ELPT Writing
International students who are not native speakers of English and who are completing the program online in their home countries must have a conferred degree from an English speaking university/college or must earn a written English test score that is high enough to waive any University of Arkansas English proficiency courses. To waive English proficiency courses, the international applicant must earn a satisfactory score on at least one of the following tests.
- 29 on the TOEFL iBT Writing
- 80 on the Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE-A)
- 7.0 on the IELTS
- 4.5 on the GRE Analytical Writing
- 5.0 on the GMAT Analytical Writing
